ŌTOROHANGA October 10 FIREFIGHTERS were called to extinguish a fire in pine trees on Honikiwi Rd at 7.29pm. October 11 A PATIENT with burns was taken to Waikato Hospital after a fuel can caught on fire at 1.39pm on Main North Rd, Ōtorohanga. NO action was required from firefighters who responded to a crash on SH3 in Hangatiki where a car crashed into a barrier at 2.31pm. October 12 THE brigade was called to a crash on SH31 at 6.28pm after a vehicle fled police and crashed.

TE KŪITI October 11 FIREFIGHTERS responded to a crash between two vehicles at the intersection of Taupiri St and King St East, Te Kūiti at 3.30pm. October 12 AN alarm activation at OMYA, Te Kūiti at 11.40am was found to be a false alarm. October 16 FIREFIGHTERS from Te Kūiti, Piopio and Benneydale were called to a crash on Pukerimu Rd between Te Mapara and Kopaki. Minor injuries were sustained by a driver who crashed into a bank at 2.25pm.

KĀWHIA October 15 THE brigade was called to a medical event in Tahaaroa village at 7.32am.
