By-election needed

KĀWHIA Community Board member Ken Briggs, pictured above, has resigned from his position due to ill Health, the Ōtorohanga District Council has advised. The resignation will trigger a by-election for his seat on the Kāwhia Community Board. “Ken’s dedication and work to make Kāwhia an even better place to live will be missed by the Kāwhia Community Board and the Kāwhia community”, Kāwhia Community Board chair Dave Walsh said. “We thank him for his mahi in the Kāwhia community and we wish him all the best.” Information about the by-election, including the timeline, nomination, and voting process, will be on the Ōtorohanga District Council’s website and Facebook pages in due course.
