Stadium naming rights

TE Kūiti’s indoor sports stadium will be named after Hamilton based Gallagher Group, with Graymont and The Lines Company naming the two basketball courts. The stadium will be officially known as the Gallagher Recreation Centre, as a result of a sponsorship deal obtained by Waitomo mayor John Robertson and Sport Waikato CEO Matthew Cooper. “These financial contributions are big wins for our community,” John said. “I am extremely grateful for the support that these companies will be providing to us. “All three are well known in our region and all actively contribute to the well-being of our people. The value and benefit of sponsorship is really important, particularly for smaller communities,” he said. The sponsorship from three significant partners would help ensure the stadium would be financially  sustainable over the years ahead.
