DECEMBER 13

POLICE spoke to a youth riding a quad bike with no helmet on Taupō Rd, Taumarunui.

TWO males reported to be entering and exiting properties on Ngatai St, Taumarunui were not located by police.

TAUMARUNUI police gave advice in a dispute between neighbours.

DECEMBER 15

A DISQUALIFIED driver had his vehicle impounded by Taumarunui police.

TWO men were reported to be fighting at Challenge in Manunui.

POLICE attended a disorder on O’Reilly Cr, Taumarunui.

A WHEEL came off a vehicle on Hakiaha St, Taumarunui and struck another vehicle.

DECEMBER 16

A WANTED male was located and arrested by Taumarunui police.

TAUMARUNUI police processed a driver for drink driving.

DECEMBER 17

SOLAR panels and batteries were taken from a property on Ngapuke Rd, Manunui and 180 litres of diesel was taken from a tractor on the same road.

THE occupants of a vehicle escaped injury after their car lost control on Kururau Rd, Taumarunui and rolled into the backyard of a residential property. DECEMBER 18

POLICE attended a crash on SH41 near Taumarunui. A MAN stranded on the riverbank opposite Cherry Grove, Taumarunui was rescued by jet boat.

DECEMBER 19

POLICE attended a burglary on SH41. A DISORDER was reported on Taupō Rd, Taumarunui.

THE driver of a vehicle was summonsed to court for sustained loss of traction and had his vehicle impounded.

POLICE attended 15 family harm episodes in Taumarunui between December 13 and 19.

TE KŪITI December 13 FIREFIGHTERS responded to a medical event at Hangatiki East Rd at 7.36am.

December 14 MINOR injuries were sustained when a car crashed into a bank on SH3 in Te Mapara at 7.49pm.

December 15 A CREW was called to assist Ōtorohanga brigade in extinguishing a house fire on Puketawai Rd, Ōtorohanga at 10.30am.

December 16 FIREFIGHTERS on their way to assist Piopio brigade at the scene of a crash on Kea St, Piopio at 11.59pm were stood down en route.

December 17 A WORKER on site at the King Country Stadium in Te Kūiti accidentally set off the alarm, causing a response from the fire brigade at 4.51pm.
