Suspicious house fire

POLICE are investigating the cause of a fire that gutted a Te Kūiti house on Sunday. Emergency services were called to the house on Awakino Rd at 4.45pm, which was fully involved in fire. Police from Te Awamutu were on the scene on Monday morning, awaiting the arrival of the Fire Service investigator to determine the origin and cause of the fire, which from the degree of damage appeared to have started from the living area. ALL that remains of a home after a fire on Awakino Rd, Te Kūiti. Police and the fire service are investigating.
