March 8

FIREFIGHTERS were called at 7.12am to a car crash on Ouruwhero Rd, Ōtorohanga. A status one (critical) patient was transported to Waikato Hospital.

A MEDICAL call on Te Anga Rd came through to firefighters at 6.42pm.

A FIRE was reported in the vicinity of Ormsby Cr, Ōtorohanga at 8.32am. It was a rubbish fire that was out on arrival.

ŌTOROHANGA firefighters were the first on the scene of a crash between a campervan and a minibus at 1.54pm just south of Waitomo Village.

March 14

A CREW on its way to assist Piopio and Te Kūiti brigades at a fire in Aria at 2.01pm was turned around.

A FIRE alarm was sounding at Ōtorohanga iSITE at 8.55pm.

THE brigade helped Piopio with traffic control at a crash on SH3 north of Piopio at 12.19pm.

Kāwhia

March 13

FIREFIGHTERS from Kāwhia, Ōtorohanga and Pirongia fought a blaze in a shearing shed on Aotea Rd, Kāwhia at 12.17am.
