The Ōtorohanga Brigade rescued two adult dogs and two puppies after a car rolled in Barber St at 5.05pm on Saturday. The occupants had extricated themselves from the vehicle, leaving the dogs inside it.  

Early Monday, at 12.40am the brigade was called to the Caltex station in Te Kanawa St to deal with a fuel spill.  

Two fire engines attended a kitchen fire in Rangitahi St, Ōtorohanga, at 2.23am on July 5.

Piopio and Benneydale brigades responded to a medical event on Sunday at 9.10am on State Highway 4 at Te Mapara.

The Kāwhia Brigade were called to Apakura St on July 4 when a caravan was damaged during a storm. The brigade covered the damaged area with tarpaulins.
