KAT Brown-Merrin has resigned as chair of the Ōtorohanga Community Board and been replaced by Katrina Christison.
“I’m standing down as chair, effective immediately for the Ōtorohanga Community Board,” Kat said.
“I just want to take the opportunity to say thank you to community members and staff who have supported me over the past year.”
Kat handed over the chair to the council’s general manager business support Graham Bunn.
He conducted the election of Katrina Christison to the position. Katrina was nominated by board member Tori Muller, seconded by Peter Coventry and elected unopposed.
