THE Move Your Tinana Kāwhia Festival will  be held on Saturday, after bad weather forced a postponement last weekend.

The seven-hour music, movement and fun day starts at 9am on the Omimiti Reserve at Kāwhia. As well as activities, there will be stalls.

Sunday, February 18 is the Ōtorohanga Vintage Machinery Club’s annual tractor pull and display day, which will start at 10am.

It will be held at 952 Otewa Road, Otewa, just past the school. Spectators are welcome

The following weekend, February 24-25, there are two events that will bring visitors into Ōtorohanga.

The truck and ute show, which replaces the piston picnic, will occupy the Island Reserve on Saturday.

On Sunday, the New Zealand Antique and Historical Arms Association gun show will be held at the  Ōtorohanga Club from 9am till 4pm. Admission is $5.

The one-day show will have displays and a good array of items on sale from dealers and vendors.
