Two more arrests in Taumarunui ram raid

Ruapehu Police have made two further arrests in relation to a burglary in Taumarunui earlier this month.

At around 4am on April 13, police responded to a report of a burglary of a business on Hakiaha Street, Taumarunui in which a vehicle was used to gain entry to the premises.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on Saturday and has been charged with burglary.

He is due to appear in the Taumarunui District Court on Thursday.

A 22-year-old-man was arrested last Monday and has been charged with receiving stolen property.

He is due to appear in the Hamilton District Court on Friday.

Police arrested and charged a youth with burglary on 14 April and have not ruled out filing further charges against the offenders.
